Apr. 7th, 2005 10:56 amEventually resorted to old standby of chunky Kit Kat bar for caffeine and sugar boost. During final exam periods, I subsist on the damn things anyway, might as well start five days early. (ACK! FIVE DAYS! ONLY FIVE!)
It is either a very good thing or a very bad thing that I left my statistics lab exam fifteen minutes before anyone else did, having answered all of the questions save one, which was a one-point question anyway. I'm also 100% sure I got one of the others wrong, but I did get AN answer, using a reasonable method (I think - I used Pearson Correlation), so I should get part marks at least. I hope.
All in all, I worship Ashton who took a couple of hours to study with me last night and explained things so that they made sense.
Presentation on the Stephenville Tire Yard project I did for the same class is this afternoon at one-thirty, GMT -3.5. Should be all right - I know my part of the presentation, and can answer all the chemistry and ecology related questions I might get asked. Three cheers for being the one who gets to do background research and not actually have to do the boring stuff like explaining method and results! My partners will have a coughing fit if I get overenthused and start rattling on about oxidization reactions and groundwater cycles. If we have the time we're going to start with a clip from the Simpsons - "The Springfield Tire Fire - twenty-five years and STILL burning!")
