My affection for the Sharpe books and films has been brought to the forefront of my brain thanks to [livejournal.com profile] annathepiper, so wihtout further ado, I present to you my favorite line from any of the films, uttered by La Marquesa after Sharpe has rescued her from a nunnery with only a chicken to defend himself with, while under heavy fire from nuns who throw cabbages at him.

"Goodbye, sisters! I'm off to commit adultery. Lots of it!"

The amount of caffeinated beverages available and good-tasting is inversely proportional to the need for caffeine and the amount of time one has to procure said beverage.

In other words, my only option is friggin' coffee (ew), because the only vending machine I could find which was not sold out of fizzy drinks had precisely one kind left: non-caffeinated diet coke.

(Actually, I lie. I found one, but it wouldn't take my toonie. Then the change machine wouldn't take my five.)

May actually come close to passing test tomorrow - if fail by more than six percent, am doomed.
