Jul. 27th, 2005 05:55 pmA guy I grew up with is getting married this weekend, to a fantastic lady who I like very much. Malcolm is the closest thing I've got to a brother.
I can't afford much, money-wise, in the area of wedding presents. My name is on the family gift of a gift certificate to a furniture store (to go towards a new fridge), but I wanted to give them something special. Refridgerators, useful as they are, lack a certain romance.
That being said, my gift won't be ready until _after_ the wedding, because I want to take a picture of them at the wedding itself, wash it out so that it's very faded, and superimpose a poem on it and have it laminated - one of _my_ poems. It's a bit egotistical, I suppose, but I like the idea.
So here's the problem; should I use the well-wishing poem, or the love poem?
