In other news, I spoke with my mum on the phone yesterday, and she told me all about my ex-theatre company's latest production. Chris was directing for the first time, and sat next to my folks for the play. Mum says he wished I'd been there, and that there was a part which he thinks I'd have been perfect for. Elaine was great, Mum says, but '[I]'d have made it funnier'. As it was a comedy and not a tragedy, I took this as a compliment.

I can't believe I only have three classes left to my first university semester. Wow...
