Er... okay.

1) I think marijuana should be decriminalized. Not necessarily legalized... but more in terms of parking infractions. If you haven't hurt anyone else, no jail time. Fines only. Jail is the best place to pick up a worse drug habit... "Oh, look, here's a college student getting high on his own time. Let's throw him in with the thieves and hardened criminals."

Makes sense to me...

2) Celine Dion's really not that bad.

3) Canada's not perfect. We have starving freezing children that we don't look after, just like everywhere else. We're the only country in the world which has ever been host to a successful genocide. We took all our Japanese people and took away their homes, sending them to camps during the second world war.

We are SO not better than anyone else.

4) I admire Hitler. Not for the beliefs he held, but for the strength of those beliefs and the tenacity with which he went about achieving his goal.

5) I think The English Patient was a terrible movie.

(Gee, this is hard...)

6) I think Neville's way cooler than Harry. Harry is egotistical and arrogant.

7) I detest Hugh Grant. For some reason, though, I would really like to see Love, Actually While on the subjectn of movies, I hated "Mrs. Doubtfire" too.

8) I really don't think ratifying the Kyoto protocol would cause massive job loss in the United States. Frankly, I think it would create jobs in the short run - lots of labour needed to overhaul places and to develop better methods. It'd preserve them in the long run as well - kinda hard to work if you can't breathe.

9) I am a paper Socialist. I think the Big Brother thing is a great idea - but only on paper, because frankly I can't think of anyone I'd want to be Big Brother, and a computer just won't cut it.

10) I think organized religion's probably going to be the end of the human race.

I detest Hugh Grant.

YES! He needs to be locked away somewhere where he won't give us English a bad name. And maybe slapped a bit too, and given a good and brutal haircut :P

He has one role - the befuddled, apologetic young Englishman who's charmingly naive.

He is, however, a better actor than Keanu Reeves.

Grant has two facial expressions.

Which are? Right now I can only think of "foppishly puzzled". Keanu's is best described as just "dumb and incredulous". I don't think he ever really moved past Bill&Ted territory.

Well, there' 'foppishly puzzled', and then the 'I'm smiling because she said she loves me, even though this makes me look disturbingly like a chimpanzee'

Heheh - a floppy-haired chimpanzee. There's a guy at work who has all his mannerisms, and, more disturbingly, is proud of that!

Yes - nothing like a wee spot of taking the piss out of celebrities to cheer you up :)

Not alone...

You mean I'm not the only person who thinks this? YAY!

*raises her hand* Can I join that club, too? Ya know, the only difference between a religion and a cult is the number of followers ;)

Can I apply for a position in that club, too? What positions are open, anyway? ;)
