It has just been brought to my attention that the 8-Track Favourites have a CD out, and that it is a live cd.

This makes me very, very, very happy.

The 8-Tracks are a bunch of players from bands that I already like in their own right, who play country covers. Not just any country covers, though, no. That'd be too easy, so they play only songs old enough to have been released on 8-track. Hence the name.

Weird that country music is not my preferred style to listen to as a rule, but I go so gaga for this. I think it's just that they're having so much _fun_ that it's impossible not to have every bit as much fun while I'm there.

This, folks, is the band that caused me to finally go out and buy the cowboy hat I'd been wanting since I was ten, the one Dad always told me not to waste my money on.

Anyone want to get me a Christmas present? (just kidding :p)

I'm honestly not a big fan of the 8-tracks and wasn't much into the album, but the title near killed me.

The CD was released at the beginning of August. btw, yours truly did the logo design for the band as well as most of the cover (I was given the photo to use). :D

Going to see them this Saturday at The Ship. Going to be fun.
