Remember a couple of weeks ago when I mentioned that one of my senior officers said he wanted to promote me, but I'd have to get my gunning up to Master-level first?

I've been practicing my butt off in my copious spare time, and it wasn't going anywhere. Made it to Respected - level about two days ago, and have been stuck there since. This afternoon, the same officer messaged me and told me to get myself a pirate badge, because he was promoting me anyway, as I was top at everything else and Sailmaster of the crew besides. So that was nice. Someone complained "hey, they don't have master gunning", but a different officer said "it's okay, she's smart enough not to gun when she knows she's not brilliant". That was nice, too.

Also, about an hour afterwards, I made Master. :-p

And I really, really like the battle navigation puzzle.

I have a sum total of zero ambition when it comes to Puzzle Pirates, so I'm perfectly satisfied living the life of a Caribbean Cowboy, jumping from crew to and learning. Besides that, the Gunning puzzle is a bitch, but I've always been curious about the Nav puzzle.

So now I have freidns in high places? Awesome! Are you still on Viridian?

I think it's time, today, that I end my abstinence from the majestic puzzle ocean!

I wouldn't say 'high places'... the promotion in question was from Cabin Person to Pirate.

Tha nav puzzles are fun, and you can play them in the Navy so long as you've got Broad experience in the duty puzzles.

Okay, which ocean are you on? It should say at the top - for instance, mine says "Framling on the Viridian Ocean".

If you aren't on Viridian, then if you switch (in the login screen, you can select ocean), I'll be able to show you the ropes better. What's your pirate name?
