I spent this morning doing work and this afternoon playing Puzzle Pirates. I have been informed that I will be up for promotion to Pirate from Cabin Person as soon as I satify my crew's gunning requirements, which I may do in a year or so. I am the world's worst gunner. Been practicing for two weeks and still can't get higher than 'fine'. Otoh, they also said "we want to make you an officer, too", so there's an incentive. Gotta get to Pirate before I get to Officer, no?

New Great Big Sea album tomorrow = happy, happy Em.

I loved that game. I just could afford it anymore. :(

Although, I am seriously thinking of switching back to that game.

I had my own ship and eeverything. And a shop. Or two. It was fun.

You do realise you don't have to pay, right? You can play for free indefinitely on one of the doubloon oceans - Viridian or Sage. (Pick Viridian - it's the ocean I play on!)

Wow, they have a sage ocean now? They broke away from blues? AMAZING.

I didn't realize that you could actually play for free forever on the dubloon oceans. I thought that you'd have to have money to get dubloons to buy the badges to be able to work and become officers and stuff? Or can you swordfight for dubloons and stuff?

If you do happen to go into Azure (Or was it Cerulean? I can't remember what the main pay-to-play server is anymore), my name is on a statue on Alpha island... under the crew 'Jollier Rogers'. Buahaha. kesolei. :)

(Yes, I was a beta tester! That's how i got hooked. I totally messed up though when I didn't take their life-time membership for $75 offer. I so should have. BLAH.)

The doubloon oceans are named after shades of green, yep - sage and viridian. And yes, you can play for free indefinitely on the doubloon oceans; you can buy doubloons with a credit card, yes, but you can also exchange pieces of eight for them.

You can! And remember that if you do wait and buy the album in the States, it increases the amount of time they spend touring down there and airplay and stuff...

Fffffft. You're on the wrong ocean. If you were on Sage you could join the Flag and you'd be juuuust fine.

You need a Pirate badge as well before you can move up. Myself, I am hoping my roommate on PP will get his crew under the Red Flag Armada so I can quit the Flag itself and join his crew because he wants to make me an officer *snork*
