Dec. 30th, 2004 02:29 pmDad and I are going to see "The Aviator" today, because dude, cool planes. And yes, I know it's about the planes in the same way that "Titanic" was about a boatship, but c'mon. Cool planes. And probably cool cars as well!

We're headed off early, too, because we got wind that the Future Shop has a copy of URU and we're hoping to get through it by the evening of the eighth. We kicked Exile's butt by Christmas Eve, so that was a week for everything except the tree world. Should be do-able with the great F------- (er - that's my surname, not a curse word!) brain pool we've got going. Dad's Mech.E. training works well with my willingness to try anything no matter how stupid it seems.
Also, I have the patience to read the books and remember what they say, which helps a bit as Dad has a tendency to ignore the books completely.
Speaking (sort of) of Titanic, did you know there's a Titanic puzzle game, written by Douglas Adams? We played it a few years ago - it's great.
