Goodness. How'd THAT happen?

framlingem*boggles*
For the first time EVER, I finished writing my thank you letters before New Year's. Wow.
However, for the first time ever, people didn't get three-sheet epistles, which might have had something to do with it.
*boggles some more*
My uncle Mark also got a limerick with his, because he said that nobody's ever written him a poem. (I can't remember how we got talking about that, but whatever.)
It went thusly:
Once, on a whim, for a lark
A poet sat down to write about Mark
It was ever so bad
So the poet was sad
And she shut herself in, in the dark.
I'm rather proud of that considering it only took two minutes and I didn't think about it before writing the only draft. I dont think the metre is quite right, but it's near enough as makes no nevermind. (which is an unttely nonsensical saying)

I'm going out to supper tonight with my best-friend-in-Montreal, and afterwards we're coming back here to watch a movie, which should be fun. I'm hoping we can rent "Garden State", which came out yesterday and is a Zach Braff oeuvre. *hearts Zach Braff very much as he is a genius*
