framlingemSo I just submitted my first ever piece of work to FictionAlley.
This makes me nervous. There's so much good stuff on there. I mean, there's stuff on there that I'm pretty sure my fic measures up to. But there's also so much absolutely superlative stuff, like Essayel's "Black Dog", and Jess Pallas' "Oblivious", and Paula McG's "The Gift". Not to mention everythign Ignipes has ever written.

This must be what it's like to submit a short to Analog. Except without the (distant) possibility of money.
(I also have a horrible feeling I have mailed my parents' Christmas present to my aunt and uncle. I can't find it ANYWHERE.)
