The radio just played a song what went "phoenix falling, the angels are calling me home", sung by a woman, and it was so pretty and I really want to know who it was, so if anyone recognises the song, please let me know what it was? Googling the lyrics didn't work.

Us journalists are good at finding things ;) It's called "Phoenix Falling" by Maura O'Connell (http://www.mauraoconnell.com/). She's from Ireland and the song is apparently from her latest CD.
