Dec. 11th, 2004 10:34 pmYou know, I can be having a really bad day, and be in need of something cool, and the
parrot_lovers community never fails to cheer me up. I'm not in need of cheering up today, but if any of you are, go check it out. The latest post of parrot pictures is full of cuteness. (AAAAH CONURE HIDING IN STUFFED TOYS! *flails*).
*sigh* I love birds. I'm looking forward to meeting Ollie (the family's new one) who is apparently more than a bit dim. Even for a budgie.

Date: 2004-12-11 06:32 pm (UTC)I love birds too. Always wanted a parrot or a myna bird, but my parents (especially my mom) shirks at any pet that runs a risk of dirtying the house. We had fish for a while in our big aquarium, but when the pump died out on us, we drained the water, and ever since, our aquarium's been a receptacle for my mom's neverending porcelain thingamajigs collection. -_-
Seeing all those pretty parrots me of Pidgey, my old finch from high school. He was small and cute, but hella noisy in the morning. Used to crap everywhere when I let him out of his cage, but I didn't care. He was just too cute.
Ahh, the memories...
