Last day of classes!
Dec. 3rd, 2004 11:45 pmI found the COOLEST Christmas present for someone today. I am so chuffed about this it's not even funny.
I love when that happens, when you find something that you know is perfect. I can't wait 'till Christmas so I can find out if I'm as spot-on about this gift as I think I am.
No more classes for this semester. After our last class, Mark, Maya, Candy (older Candy. I cannot believe I know two people named Candy), Randy and I went to the Backlot (student pub), where I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have started to stock Rickard's Red beer, which is my very very favorite beer. Also, there was a professor in there who had a bottle of my favorite scotch, and was sharing it out to anyone who wanted some, so I had a dram of that. Yum.
Maya and I then retired to my place, where we ordered in far too much pizza (I am going to be eating pizza for at least two days) and watched 'Bedazzled', which I hadn't seen before. I don't think it was Brendan Fraser's best movie - I found 'George of the Jungle' much, much funnier. The ending of 'Bedazzled' was a little too much 'let me hit you over the head with the Bat of Subtle Morality' for my liking.
I am not going to do anything academic tonight. I shall sit on my bed. I shall listen to music. I will read my new Bill Bryson book. (I love Bill Bryson books). If I am feeling particularly wild and crazy, I may have a bath.
Actually, I think I'm more likely to just go to sleep. 'Night all. Love you.
