Well, we had a clear view for the entire event and it was kinda cool. I took brief glances every now and again in between bouts with the slipper... (see today's entry...)
Generally though, I've given up watching various phenomenon's in outer space since Newfoundland this past summer.
Nothing will ever top lying on the rocks behind the lighthouse at Cape Spear beside the cliffs egde to watch the meteor shower August 11, 2004. Clear summer skies filled with stars falling all around you and the sound of whales spouting in the ocean directly beside you....
