Eclipse tonight
Oct. 27th, 2004 11:46 amFor anyone on my friends list who's interested in such things, there will be a total eclipse of the moon tonight beginning at nine fourteen pee em, GMT-5. (That's Eastern Standard Time).
I will be outside with Gandalf (my telescope) in the parking lot tonight, hoping for a good view. I may well have to stand in the middle of the street, but it's Wednesday. Not much traffic. I wonder if I can get anyone to join me? We could make a party out of it.
Le Squee.
Also, my liking for Nick (Geography and GIS prof) has increased even more. I was in his office yesterday verifying some things for my midterm on Friday, and he tried to lend me "Swordfish" (we'd seen the beginning in class, and he'd thought I seemed 'absorbed') - I declined based on what I'd seen in the beginning, which is... grisly to say the least (for those of you who have not watched television or movies with me... I'm over-empathetic. I could feel myself being blown apart.).
In this morning's class, he handed me a copy of "MST3K - The Movie" and ordered me to watch it.
Excellent.
