framlingemIt is very odd that I have now watched three episodes of "Century City", and yet I still have no clue what any of the characters are named. I have decided that they don't have names.
There's sentimental pink-shirt guy, there's jerk-boy, there's strangely good-lucking and lucky boy, there's token tough black lady, there's token blonde-with-mysterious-past-and-a-very-cool-blouse.
They all wear the same clothes all the time. It's odd.
In other news, "Gattaca" is on SpaceTV tonight. Yay for science fiction movies which are about ideas rather than effects, and in which humans manage to make each other aliens. Yay for the words 'science fiction' not being connected to 'this summer's big blockbuster'. Yay for science fiction movie with good acting and casting. Yay for a hopeful story.
It's my favourite film.
Is it still Saturday?
I was talking with Ashton on the phone earlier. It went like this.
A: So, watcha doin?
E: PLaying backgammon online.
A: Wow, you really party on a Saturday night, doncha?... You know, I always wanted to learn how to play that.
So in a few minutes (or when she finishes her paper that she's working on), we're going to play backgammon.
Yup, folks, this is it. The Wild College Girls Gone Crazy lifestyle.
My life is a sitcom for middle-aged women. Yessir... backgammon and chick-flicks. I'm livin' it up.
