(no subject)

It's starting to look like I won't make it back out to Corner Brook until January. I can take classes at the St. John's campus, and I don't think scrunchions and the Mister will mind not having to find a new tenant for my room, but I'm a bit disappointed.

I like St. John's very much. I do. It's my favourite large city. (For, you know, a given value of 'large' - I'm defining it as "undeniably urban with bars and theatres and largeish shopping centers and whatnot" as opposed to "actually large")

But I miss my home.

Movies.

I am not going to see the Transformers movie. Not because I don't have fond childhood memories of them - I do. Not because I've heard it's a bad movie - I've heard reports on both ends of the spectrum.

I am not going to see it simply because I work for GM and have heard about NOTHING BUT BLOODY TRANSFORMERS SINCE MARCH AND AM SO INCREDIBLY SICK OF BUMBLEBEE THE CONCEPT CAMARO AND JAZZ THE SOLSTICE.

So, so, so incredibly fed up. I have verbiage memorised for people who call to say they liked the movie, and for people who call to say they hate it, and it's bland and insipid and ridiculously non-commital.

You have no IDEA how tired I am of the whole thing.
