Customer: Where can I get a remote door unlocker for my GMC truck?
Me: Your local GMC dealer will either have one or be able to get one for you! *smily voice*
Customer: Really? You can get these at a GMC dealer?
Me: Yes. Any part or accessory for your Acadia, that's the best place to go. Would you like me to find you one?
Customer: No! That's okay, there's one just down the road.
Easy as anything, but honestly, does it not occur to people that when you want an object to replace one you already have, the best place to go to is the place that sold you that object in the first place?
I want a part for my truck! I'll go to the grocery store.
Common sense, folks. Common sense. She was really nice and happy, though, so that's good :) I hope her new key fob doesn't cost her too much.
(We're incredibly busy right now for some reason; enough so that the simple calls like that are spilling over into my centre, which usually deals with more complex issues.)
