framlingem: (oops.)
I am finished packing, except for things like headphones, toothbrush, etc, which need to go into carryon. I will, however, have to do some shuffling when I pack my frozen bagels tomorrow, as my suitcase is so over the allowed weight that I can barely lift it (and I am an ex-shotputter. Weak is not the word), while my dufflebag is as light as an undernourished feather. Balance in all things, but not, unfortunately, in packing.

(I don't understand it. They both have... clothes.)

My problem is that years of camping has taught me how to pack a lot of stuff so that it fits into a very small space; I suspect my clothes are simply very dense.

I am capable of travelling light, but it's a bit difficult when packing nearly everything one owns into two bags.
framlingem: (what a good boy)
I'm in a bit of a rush (moving halfway across the country will do that to one), so the introduction this week is simple; this is possibly my favourite love poem ever.
