I wish I could figure out what it is about Joni Mitchell's music that I like so much. There's a quality to it I don't hear from anyone else, but I don't know what it is.

At any rate, go Joni Mitchell, hooray!

Got the house to myself for the weekend. I am having a Wild and Crazy Party tonight, I am. The milk will be flowing, in all varieties of fat-percentages (fewer than are available in NL, though) and flavours (well, chocolate, strawberry, and plain), and I'm baking a cake. I've invited over a whole three people, and we're going to play _board games_ until ten, maybe even eleven!

Oh yeah, I'm living it up in my youth. Middle Earth Risk. Whoo!

Did anyone see this week's Doctor Who? Creepy. I dreamed about gas masks last night.

How hard is it to get _icing_ right?

I am a failure as a cake-decorater. The cake's all right, but I obviously forgot something when it came to the icing because it's not hardening at ALL, in fact I think it's getting softer and the top half of the cake keeps falling off of the bottom half, and there is _icing_ running over the edges od the plate and cascading onto the counter and it wasn't this runny when I put it on and it's being refrigerated and ARGH!

Tastes good, though. I put in orange extract. Mmm. And I solved the top half sliding problem by taking a carving knife and stabbing it so that the two halves are essentially pinned together. It looks ridiculous. (But vertical!)

I'm going to get laughed at when my friends see it. That's okay. I think it's hilarious. XD

I just happened to glance in a mirror - there was icing on my forehead.
