First of all, goodness for Ash, because I thought this kicked ass and I know she thinks Eowyn rocks. My one question: where's Merry? Still cool though.

Went to bed last night, thinking to myself 'that psych test next Tesday, I should study for that soon. Hmmm... am I sure it's next Tuesday'. So I got up, went and got my psych text, read chapter five (eighty pages) and went to sleep at about 1AM. Good thing, too, because my test was today, after all. I got an eighty!

On the other hand, the anthro test I studied for well ahead of time, I got 66 on. Message here? I think so.

KcE - I need to hear about SoM!

KcE here! I keep meaning to update my journal with a bit of a review (besides Saturday's tipsy ramblings) and haven't got around to it! Let me just say that the Sons of Maxwell we saw on Saturday was a very different show from the Mississauga one - great, but different! A lot more GBS really - very upbeat, with lots of dancing from the crowd. It was a little odd though - they did a ton of cover songs - everything from Neil Diamond to the theme song from the Jeffersons (Movin' On Up?). Sadly they didn't do the Lighthouse, Hold On or Mr.Tanner - very little slow, ballady-type stuff.

The opening band was great too. A local group called Siobhan - watch for them, cause I think they play Montreal occasionally, and they're a lot of fun. Sort of Celtic Punk - and they have the yummiest accordian player ever!!! (Sorry Bob!)

I really wish you could have been there, Em. I was certainly thinking of you, and all the Oshawa gang! But they'll be back! And who knows, maybe we'll see them together next year at the ECMAs?! Wouldn't that be fabulous?!

Hey - quick question? Are you going to Celtae at Hurley's next (next next?) Saturday? I'm so looking forward to finally seeing them live!

Yup, I'm going to Hurley's :) It's a bar with the decency to be somewhere I can drink :p I've never heard any of Celtae's stuff, so if I don't like them, I'm going to insist you and Ariel buy me a pint to make up for it ;) (Won't happen, though. I trust your opinion!)

Shame SoM didn't play The Lighthouse - that's my current favorite, and it's soooooo pretty and lonely.

And if I'm in Corner Brook next year, (or Nova Scotia), you can bet I'm volunteering at the ECMAs!

*rereads what you wrote* GASP! You have blasphemed against the accordion God! lol!
