My dad recently purchased a machine to scan all their old slides. Apparently those slides, in dusty boxes lo this score of years, contain almost all of my baby pictures, along with their wedding pictures and pictures of them and their families before they met each other. (I can't wait to see the whole bunch!)

My sister tells me she forwent uploading the picture of my naked baby rear end as I apparently crawled into a bookcase (they must have known then I'd be a reader), but she did upload a few to facebook for me. This one's my favourite - that's my Grandad holding me, circa June 1985, I think, based on it obviously being summer and me obviously being just over a year old.




I was blonde! And clearly already entranced with things that flew in the air - look where I'm pointing.

My face really hasn't changed all that much.
