I just got a phone call from a cell-phone company, who wanted to give me a free phone. I thought, hey, this sounds good, I know I already have one, but free stuff is always welcome. She kept going and said that I'd have free unlimited calls for four months, but if I accepted the phone I'd sign a non-transfereable 36-month contract for 20$ a month (their cheapest plan).
If I count this one up right, my free phone will cost me 720$.
I already have a phone, and I put money on when I need it, which is seldom. I'll have a landline at uni (it's included in the res thing), and landline companies are cheaper by far.
So yeah, I turned down my 'free' phone.
