Wound up going to the geography lab, but skipped out before the end. So long as I have my work in by noon tomorrow, it's on time, so that's all right.

Y'know, you could get one of those counter bars people use for counting... things. I think they are neat, anyway... It would be cool if someone with programming and graphics skills (?) made a LoTR-themed one just for that.

Hm, well it looks like all the ones I've seen are from http://www.tickerfactory.com but they don't let you customise them very well. They're all for counting down to dates, or counting down weight loss. That is slightly disappointing.

Ah-hah! Much later, I finally found one that will work (http://www.zokutou.co.uk/wordmeter/). It's designed for counting words in fics, which is why I've seen it popping up lately, what with NaNo and all, but I bet it would work perfectly for the walk to Rivendell. (I have started biking there myself. ;))
