I have seen
white horses
running through mountains
not like horses exactly, quite,
but what a horse is.

I have seen
a cathedral valley
the world stretching away
like I was flying
glory be.

I have seen
stone on stone
for miles and miles
a sign through space
we are here.

I have seen
proof of forever
a ribbon of blue
in a cage of browns
escaping.

I have seen
sights and sights
and I have sighed at them
but with you I don't need them
for I can see.
