It's striking home more this year than it did last year. This year, I know someone. He loves his partner. He has cats. He designs the world's coolest looking tattoos. He loves to travel. He likes really good books. He hates cold weather. He is one of the people who stopped me from doing something very very stupid five years ago, and helped me out of a very deep dark hole.
This year, the face of AIDS is one I know.
