Jan. 6th, 2011 02:50 pmI suppose it was too much to ask to do a CanLit class without having to read Atwood. I know she's someone a lot of people like, and I'm sure she's excellent (you don't become a staple author while still alive and win all those awards without a high standard of quality!), but then, tomatoes can also be widely-liked and imbued with excellence, and I don't like them either. Personal taste, wot.
In other news, it was also too much to ask to do a short story class without having to read Faulkner and Hemingway. At least it's not "Hills Like White Elephants" again.
That said, I'm totally psyched about the rest of the things I'll be reading.
