Dec. 4th, 2010 03:19 pmSo I'm participating in the December Daily Doodles as I do every year, which is a Puzzle Pirates event where participants get to do something creative every weekday (and something creative on the weekends, too!) for the month of December. I thought I'd post the ones I was particularly proud of here. Keep in mind that the art stuff isn't ZOMG SEND IT TO THE LOUVRE, but in general I'm posting it because last year all I could do was stick figures, and I'm happy with the progress.
This one was to fulfill the assignment "Your pirate, as a doll!", where we could either make something in real life (a few people knitted dolls! In a day! Or made rag dolls, or little clay ones!) or do 2D computer-generated or real art and I decided to do 2D art of my pirate-doll on a bookshelf. (Done on a computer, because my art supplies are nil.)

For reference, this is my pirate. I'm really pleased with how the hat came out.
