(no subject)

So I'm writing a story. It's going to be longer than is usual for me (ie, over 1000 words. I'm succinct, what can I say.) and I'm having real trouble writing it. It's not that I don't know where it's going, because I do, and it's not because I don't know what the words are, it's that I keep having to stop and go do something else because it's not a happy story at ALL until right at the end, and even that's debateable. It's just... a hard subject, you know? And it's a story that I need to write, but man, I'm starting to wish I'd never thought of it.
