Feb. 6th, 2009 08:04 pmSo I just came back from my first exam in two years; I was finished in forty minutes, which is either a good thing or a bad thing, but not many things in between. I did have a brief minute of panic because it was one of those "fill in the dots" exam sheets where you needed a pencil, and all I had was pens because I hate pencils, but someone lent me one. It was very blunt and made a horrible noise, but I survived by writing down all my answers in pen on the question sheet, and then copying them to the answer sheet so that I wasn't actually thinking with a pencil.
*shudder* How can people WORK with pencils? Doesn't the scratching and the way it vibrates on the paper drive them nuts?
Also, pinching yourself and concentrating very, very hard to try to tell where in your head neurons are firing does not work when asked to label the part of the brain on a picture that is active for the sense of touch.
I think I'll probably wind up with a mid-range B, which I'm okay with.
