(no subject)

I had a very long phone conversation yesterday with someone I hadn't spoken with in two years. The conversation went as such:

"Er, Hi, L. It's Emily. Um, (surname)."
"Hi! Well who else would it be? I know it's you, silly."

And then we talked for an hour and a half as though no time had passed. It was very nice.

Note to self: you are lucky in your friends. Don't ever forget that.
