With regards to my last entry, an update.

I have a date. With a very cute guy named B.

No set time, but there is definite 'I would like to spend at least a few evenings with you when you're in town at the end of the summer, what do you like to do, we'll do it.' planning going on, with no expectations other than casual enjoyment of each other's company and possibly some really good long hugs.

I haven't had a date-date since my breakup when I moved to college (which was a bad breakup, and not an experience I ever wish to repeat, though it was the right thing to do for both of us). And like I said, he's seen my picture so is not expecting someone smokin' hot. I'm not head-over-heels, which is good as this is one time I know there's no possibility of anything long term, and fine since I'm not looking for that. There is a girl who will be living with him in two or three years' time - until then, they have an open relationship (I checked and asked her before saying yes.). I'm okay with that, she's okay with that.

So... okay :) Let's see if I remember how to be comfortable with someone.
