Jul. 8th, 2005 09:27 pmHee- Beck and Bad Luck opening for Nittle Grasper! It's a Fictional Anime Band crossover musical extravaganza! Hooray!
Not that that matters, since it doesn't exist. Be cool if it did, though.
So - on Sunday, Mum and I drove to Quebec to see the Cirque du Soleil, having utterly failed to get our act together in time to see it in Montreal. Fabulous stuff. I highly recommend it.
On Tuesday, Mariko and I were off to the Montreal Science Centre, which is a museum with lots of shiny things and buttons to push; there is also a multiplayer (fifty-odd people) video game which teaches about foodwebs. In essence, you have to eat things and work your way up to Top Predator. She and I came second and first, respectively. Rarr. There was also an IMAX film about a group of people descending the Nile from source to sea; she (having an archaeological bent) drooled over the civilisations. I birdwatched, drooled over the whitewater kayak, and looked for signs of erosion and how the landscape changed from day to day. Very cool.
