Light dawning over Marblehead

In class today, my prof was talking about how GIS can be used to find optimal locations for things, using qualities which can't really be quantified. Ex: the ideal location for selling Jaguars.

I burst out: "Not in North America, surely? That's illegal."

(Entire class): Wha?

Me: ... oh, you're talking about cars, aren't you.

*headdesk*

Sometimes I can be a bit dim. It was a good laugh, though.

Grrr...

I really don't like April Fool's Day. Mainly because I am as gullible as... er... someone who majored in gullibleness at the MacGullible University of Gullibility and graduated with honours and a minor in naivete. ;)

That's just cruel. I was nearly in tears before I realised it was a joke. SPECIAL HELL. They're going to the SPECIAL HELL.
