Farewell, Boromir.

So Boromir will be adopted by the delightful
scrunchions, and is henceforth to be known as Nicolas.
Once I get to Corner Brook, I will be buying myself a brand-new-no-flaws-no-viruses-no-hardware-faults-no-nothing-but-quality-machine computer (probably the student special from Staples, which retails for $599 Canadian - or, pretty cheap, with a sixty dollar scanner/colour printer option which I'll probably take), to be named - what else? - Faramir.
Kinda fitting, actually, that Boromir's the first of my LOTR-named possessions to leave me.
