What on EARTH am I doing still awake?!?!?
I have TWO PAPERS TO WRITE TOMORROW FOR CHRISSAKES!!!
(On a sidenote - people in my English class keep asking me to explain the question for our English paper. "Nick Carraway differentiates between Jay Gatsby and Tom Buchanan. What are the personality differences between the two, and what does Fitzgerald intend them to represent?"
"But what does the question mean by represent? I don't geeet iiiiiit..." they wine.
How the hell did these people pass high school English?
"You can say Tom Buchanan represents squirrels, so long as you can back it up," is the best I can do after fifteen minutes of trying to explain what symbolism is. "Well, it's like, a dove represents peace, red represents danger, or anger, or love..."
