Boston, here I come.
Sep. 25th, 2003 04:27 pmNext year, that is. The only thing that was stopping me from going was money... and last night I got a letter from Memorial (posted to Quebec... what a waste of time. I live in the school, for cripes' sake.)
I won a scholarship. One thousand Canadian dollars. A quarter of this year's tuition.
My budget is complete for this year - barring catastrophe, I now have a thousand dollars more than I thought I'd have.
*goes starry-eyed at the thought of a thousand dollars*
So I'm going to NOREASCON next August. Boston, watch out - I'm coming back, and this time with more of a defined purpose than 'I need to get out of Quebec - where'd be a cool place to go?'
