Once a year, all the queen ants leave the nests. At the same time - I wonder how they know when everybody else is doing it? The come up from the ground in swarms, and fly away. It's cool. Thousands and thousands of them.
This year, half of them seem to have decided to commit sui-insectiside and flew right into the pool. There's a huge pile of them on the bottom. It's somewhat gross.
Am thinking of trying to catch the late show of Pirates again tonight. :p
Am certainly going to catch the matinee of Seabiscuit tomorrow! Horses! EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
