I HAVE IT!!
Jun. 21st, 2003 05:47 pmWaltzed into Walmart at eight AM today, bought Harry Potter, and waltzed out. Advantage to living in a 95% french community: books that aren't translated yet will certainly be available.
Managed to read a hundred and thirty pages of it in the forty minutes between buying it and work plus my thirty minute break. Gramarye was right about Figg! (squees)
OTOH, must relinquish it to my sister because she needs to finish it by Monday, and she doesn't read as fast as I do. Also, must go to party tonight when would rather just read. Poo.
Oh well.I'll have it finished by Monday evening. I'll ask all my friends who have it - Can you please put any spoilers behind cuts? That way I won't screw up and read one by accident. Thank you.
