It is a beautiful day. It has been raining since Saturday, and today the sky is blue, the wind is warm, and little clouds are floating around like marshmallows in unusually sky-coloured hot chocolate.
My theatre company phoned me last night - they had to get rid of the guy playing the Thief's Apprentice in the new play (the one that's on in four weeks) because he wasn't showing up to rehearsals, so they phoned me. This is a really cool part - like Baldrick in Blackadder. Does anyone know anything that makes a decent substitute for tailor's chalk? i need to make a cloak, and I can't seem to find any, and I really don't feel like going to the mall.
I read the part last night at rehearsal, and S. (the director for this one) said I'd done more with it than the previous actor had done in five weeks. *preens* Now all I have to do is learn the lines.
"Yes, Master."
"he speaks not a word, master"
"Oooh, this is going to be bloody, isn't it?"
"Kill the pig! Kill the Pig!"
